The hotel was very clean and we felt the triple room we had was homely and spacious . The beds were really comfortable and Icelandic wool blankets are provided if you ever need warmth which is a nice touch . We had stayed here before four years ago and had very much enjoyed our stay then so were delighted that the hotel was as we had hoped . It provides what you need and the staff who were at reception were always very friendly and helpful

Ruth

Breakfast was tasty with a variety of hot and cold food. Double Room was big enough for two people to move around easily with an added touch of a balcony. Everything was comfortable and clean though if you wanted your room cleaned you would have to ask at reception before 10am. Wasn't an issue though. Shower Gel and handwash provided in bathroom. Location wasn't too bad at all with the main shopping areas just down the road.

Location perfect! Away from the buzz in town but very close to the main streets, restaurants, bars, services. Room: it looks like an old hotel but the room was great size, bed and pillows very comfortable, shower ok, did it's job. Nothing bad to say. Reception: unfortunately I didnt catch her name but the girl in reception in day time was soooo helpful and polite. Breakfast amazing! Many options to choose from for all tastes.

When we arrived at 8 AM, we could have left our luggage until check-in time, but 2 rooms were ready and we took an offer of early check-in for a reasonable fee. It was a great relief to unpack our bags and rest and freshen up before exploring Reykjavik. I liked the location, which was away from the Center and therefore quiet. The Food Hall with several good choices was a short walk away.
